We have walls

The electrical is done, save for the overhead lighting, and the drywall is up.

Chad says, "tell them we need to do all the mud work, and taping, but it doesn't have to be perfect, because tile and cabinets are going to cover most of the walls. We need to move the gas this week to service the new stove location. Not that big of a deal, but routing the flexible copper gasline through some tricky spaces can wear at your nerves. Oh yeah, that's a good one. Oh man, don't write that crap. Emily, stop. "

We figure we have 4-6 weeks left with this project. I am looking forward to being done.

We are taking this weekend off for a trip to NYC. And then, back at it.

  1. Hi Allison:
Thanks for all your encouragement. We really appreciate it. Working with that drywall really sucks. Next time i will consider taking on a second job so that I can afford to pay someone to do it for me. Not sure i would really do that, but it did suck that much. Now we just need to stick in there for a few more weeks..
